One of the iconic members of the Fuentes Gasca Mexican circus family, Juventino Fuentes Gasca, was multi-talented circus artist, and a successful businessman. He passed away in 2013.
In memoriam of their father his two sons, Renato and Valentino established the Special Prize “Juventino F.G. “ which has been awarded for the third time to those personalities, circus professionals, and artists who contributed with their support, and work to the development, and growing prestige of circus arts. This prize is the first one created by a circus, and aims as well to unite and bring together members of the international circus community.
During the festive gala show celebrated in San Cristóbal, Venezuela the special prizes were announced, and handled to those who were present.
In recognition of her priceless contribution to circus arts the medal and diploma to
H.S.H. Princess Stephanie, Honorary President of the Fédération Mondiale du Cirque,
was announced.
Mr Urs Pilz, President of the FMC, was awarded as well.
The recognitions were handled to the representatives of FMC being present at the event.
The Executive Director of the Federation, Zsuzsanna Mata, was among the laureates too.
