The Fédération Mondiale du Cirque initiated an unprecedented worldwide collaboration in 2018 within the framework of honoring the 250th anniversary of modern circus.
Two sets of especially designed juggling clubs travelled more than 98 000 km in 5 continents. 22 circus schools and cc. 400 participants actively contributed to the success of the Tour. The video was produced on the short films sent by the partakers, and it was featured on World Circus Day 2018. Following the Tour one set of the clubs was donated to the future Circus Museum in Newcastle-under-Lyme, the birthplace of Philip Astley, and the other set went to Dr Alain Frére’s rich Circus Sanctuary.
